Yes! Recognition and appreciation aren’t vital just in commerce or social or family relationships. It’s just as critical – maybe even more – in medicine, social care, education, where professionals sometimes lose sight of the fact that their “expertise” is not the only thing patients or students need from them. In the “old days,” doctors may not have had as many cures at hand as today, but they were immeasurably important nonetheless even if all they could offer was their care.
The only reason business exists is because customers exist. So, ever be thankful to them. Do more than less to satisfy them. Have a reasonable smaller margin than larger margin in your business with them. Ensure that they perceive the value you provide. Do not use every opportunity to bill them, use every opportunity to serve them better. Billing opportunities will come logically. Be honest at all times, they should perceive your integrity.
